Delta Air Lines is bringing live sports to international flights. Watch the NFL, NBA, and Premier League via Sport 24 on Delta Sync Wi-Fi this fall.

Delta Air Lines will offer live sports streaming on international flights starting this fall through a new partnership with IMG. Passengers on long-haul routes to and from the U.S. can access live global sports programming via Sport 24 on their own devices.

Technical Requirements and Route Availability

You can access these channels through the Delta Sync Wi-Fi platform. Here is what you need to know for your next trip:

  • Available Routes: International flights to and from the U.S., including destinations in Europe, Latin America, Israel, and Africa.
  • Trans-Pacific Routes: Gate-to-gate connectivity is expected later this fall.
  • Device Requirements: You must use a personal device to access the Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra web players.
  • Membership: You must be a SkyMiles member to use Delta Sync. You can join for free on the Delta website.
  • Sports Included: The lineup includes live coverage of the NFL, NBA, Premier League, UEFA competitions, Formula 1, and Grand Slam tennis.

Delta’s Digital-First Strategy

This partnership helps Delta compete with carriers like United Airlines, which often relies on seatback entertainment systems. Delta is prioritizing a digital-first approach through Delta Sync. This shift reduces the airline’s reliance on traditional seatback hardware.
